Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: NICE BUT. Adding vestibule..
Good suggestions. I already ordered some white .51 oz cuben but it's only half a yard. The beak we discussed is still a good option. But having a waterproof layer of cuben over the storm si...

Re: Re: AT supported record attempt - Scott Jurek
So does he have a van that follows him the whole time? And he gets to camp at the end of the day and someone walks up to him and cooks his dinner and fills his water and stuff? That would surely he...

Hex price
You can also buy the hexamid solo without any options and no beak. I asked Joe about it a while ago and he said it would only cost $210. The hex is a sul great shelter. Good coverage lighting fa...

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: NICE BUT. Adding vestibule..
I think if you were to add something to a net tent .3 oz cuben would be best. It would be way more durable than polycro and would add hardly any weight. I think sewing it would be sturdy or make it...

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: NICE BUT. Adding vestibule..
Thanks for your insight. I agree a extra vestibule would help. But I'm not sure if you can tell from the new pics but the net tent now sits all the way back, albeit without touching the tarp. S...

Re: Re: My Gear List
Easy choice to drop the fly creek and use the tarp and a new bivy so you can be with your dog and you dont have two shelters now.

Re: Re: Costco budget sleeping bag - KSB 20 - Down Sleeping bag - $139
I hate how hard and long blowing up neo airs and syn mats take. Then deflating and rolling. I like my klymit x frame fI'll length. It takes 3 breaths and I use a 1/8 foam pad with it too.

Re: Re: WTB: Very Cheap Bivy borah
Borah bug bivys are just $70 too I think. But it weighs 6.5 ounces which is sul. Good investment.
