I like the Thinlight series from Gossamer Gear and find them plenty durable. I dug into my gear box and the 1/4 inch GG pad seems a little softer than my old standard blue... but it was a tough call.

I normally wear a 30/30 pant and suspect a 34 waist on the size small may be too big even with extra layers on. Anyone with a 30 waist and these Cocoon pants have any advice? size S is 30 x 34 ...
