Makes sense until you get to camp. Then you're either forced to walk around with your pack on, or find some other way to keep your back dry. Still a cool idea, though.

I carry a windshirt rather than a rain jacket on 2 or 3 day trips when the weather is expected to be fair. It's a lot lighter and much more comfortable, and it'll shed a few drops of rain ...

Nice. That mac & cheese cup sounds like a good one. Bigger than 8 oz? If not, I may splurge on a couple of those Open Country mugs. I've brought a red cup before. It cracked.

Size does matter
Yeah, that's the main drawback to this Open Country measuring cup. But it's cheap, light, and durable. If there's a 12 oz version of that for an ounce or less, I'm sold.

That's pretty solid. The price is definitely right! I bet I could trim off the handle for a bit of weight savings, and I like the multi use measuring cup aspect. Thanks for pointing that out...
