My Locale Oregon
About Me Backpacking over the last forty years or so, but too infrequently. Moved from Texas to Northwest after college because (IMHO) Oregon & Washington are much like Yellowstone & Tetons with high country, rivers, & lakes set in wilderness and national park areas. Also, a lot less expensive here than living near Yellowstone & the Tetons, although those parks are two of my favorites. Now retired, so plenty of time to do whatever, wherever, whenever. Wind River Range & Beartooth wildernesses are at top of my list.

Re: DriDucks2xlparka/poncho
You might try tying a knot at the end of each leg, sew a strip of velcro around the inside of the waist, and use them for fishing high mountain lakes. Just slap them upside down on the lake surf...
