I wouldn't try to stir the water in a bottle with the prefilter in place. I would only stir water in a glass or cup with the Journey. I would think the best way to get the water swirling is...

Klean Kanteen dangers...
The problem with Klean Kanteens is that they often are laden with dihydrogen monoxide. With a high enough dihydrogen monoxide toxicity, you can die in just minutes.

I think the cans are lined with an epoxy resin that is water based. http://www.bisphenol-a.org/human/epoxycan.html Sigg does this in their bottles.

Platypus made a stadium kit that had 4 small (.5L IIRC) platy bottles in a zippered nylon pouch. It was heavily implied that it was for booze.

I've used Superfeet and I've moved on to the SOLE Dean Karnazes insoles. The insoles are going to be supportive. Be warned: there is a slight break in period. Use them for a few hour...
