Storehouse Foods makes some good food for packing. It's already packaged for freezer bag cooking but is a little low on fat.

Butter Powder is great to add to anything you want to get that nice flavor. does not work as well to add water and spread on bread.

I have done this as a loop twice hand have to say it is one of my favorite hikes. The fog is also fun to hike in. Not always sure how far you have to go or what to expect ahead of you.

Rut is over so even if you do run into any you should have no issues. I was out on the trail last month and had no issues with them walking around in my campsite.
