The Cocoon UL 60 Balaclava is an integral part of your "shoulder season" and winter camping system. Whether you use it as along side a Cocoon UL 60 Pullover and one of the Cocoon Sleep Quilts as part of your sleep system or if you pair it with a Cocoon UL 60 Pullover for down time in camp you'll find the Cocoon UL 60 Balaclava to be a comfortable item with very little weight penalty.
Constructed of top quality, uncrushed Polargard Delta insulation inside and Pertex Quantum outside, the Cocoon UL 60 Balaclava will provide valuable warmth at little weight. The Cocoon UL 60 Balaclava works well in conjunction with other pieces of the Cocoon line.
The Cocoon UL 60 Balaclava consists of a headpiece and strap system. The shock-cord straps go under the arms and are cinched by means of a cordlock to keep the headpiece in place around the neck. The shock-cord is integrated around the face as well and by means of another cordlock can be cinched tight around the nose and mouth.
