In 2003, Jetboil announced the availability of the first integrated canister stove system utilizing a heat exchanger to improve canister stove efficiency. At Outdoor Retailer Summer Market 2006, two more companies (MSR and Primus) introduced integrated canister stove systems. A comparison is available in the table below.

Podcasts are a great addition! on 01/19/2007 12:44:06 MST Print View

Was really excited to see Podcasts on the menu. It is a great addition and supplement to all the information that is available out there for lightweight backpacking. This will definitley be added to my steady diet of podcast including Practical Backpacking and BackpackinglightUK. The info on the integrated stove technology gives one a lot to think about as far as fuel weight versus stove system weight. I'm looking forward to the reviews on the Reactor when it finally arrives and excited about a possible lighter weight version. I'll stick with my 3oz stove for now but look forward to further gear developments.
Keep up the good work on the Podcasts
