pThe AGG TreeLine is very light weight, strong, and convenient. The beauty of the system is its flat weave Spectra cord that easily slides over a tree limb, and has a 725-pound breaking strength. It’s also a screaming deal at $18.95, considering the value of the Spectra cord./p

Overview

The AntiGravityGear TreeLine is a 1 ounce bear bag hanging system consisting of a small silnylon stuff sack and 40 feet of flat weave 725-pound Spectra cord. The system assumes that you will put your food in a bag that you are already carrying, such as your sleeping bag stuff sack.

AntiGravityGear TreeLine SPOTLITE REVIEW - 1
The AntiGravityGear TreeLine is a 1-ounce bear hang system consisting of a silnylon stuff sack (to hold a rock) plus 40 feet of flat weave Spectra cord.

AntiGravityGear TreeLine SPOTLITE REVIEW - 2
I used the AGG TreeLine for hanging my food on a number of backpacking trips in bear country and really loved it. The process is to put a rock in the stuff sack, throw the sack over a high tree limb, attach your food sack, and hoist it up.

The beauty of the AGG TreeLine is its flat weave Spectra cord that easily slides over tree limbs. It has a 725-pound breaking strength and stores in the stuff sack for packing.

The TreeLine really works slick and makes food hanging a lot easier and more secure compared to the primitive nylon cord I had been using. For me, the 40 foot cord length was just right; my throwing accuracy really declines above about 20 feet. When you consider the normal cost of Spectra cord, the AGG TreeLine is an insanely great deal at $18.95.
