We have sung the praises of Darn Tough Vermont socks for quite some time now. Though the company is still young they have made quite an impression on us. We have taken their socks to points as far apart as the Alaskan arctic and the bush of Australia. We have, in general, been quite happy. But we all felt the void in the sock range that this new release should fill.

The new Micro Crew Cushion is available now for an MSRP of $17. This is a 3/4 height sock that will look quite familiar to those already using Darn Tough Vermont socks. Like the other socks in the Hike and Trek range the leg is uncushioned and has wide ribbing. Both the heel and toe are re-enforced and high density cushioning runs the length of the foot bottom helping make this a comfortable sock even under trying conditions.

This is interesting. Darn Tough socks are great and have worn far better than any other sock I've tried. I just wish they would offer them in better colors. I wound up dying mine green and black.
